Benefits to booking both travelers on same reservation?
Hi folks,

I’m a lowly MVP and my companion has no status. On an itinerary I’m planning to buy, one of the flights has only one seat left in the cheapest fare bucket. So if I book as two separate itineraries, I can save $40 on this trip.

Question is, is there any benefit to spending that extra $40 to book us on the same itinerary? I’m thinking in terms of upgrades and other MVP benefits.
