yes but I too get annoyed by that restrictions which I do not understand. With every competitor I can think of except EI, U2, FR, you can keep changing seats if something better comes after you've printed your bp and indeed arrived at the airport past security etc. This is true of AF and LH, of LX And KL and SN, of AA and DL, of IB and QR abd DY etc
