If wanting to rebook to a weekday rate, that is something that needs to be done in advance - for example, there might only be anyday award availability . Someone might really object to it changing from 1650 for 3 weekend days to 4200 for 3 anyday awards
The moral of all this seems to be not to book an award reservation and then attempt to use it for a booking where the award category is not valid.
