Amazon seems to have them. You just need to look at the part that connects to the brick and see if it's a figure 8 type or some other kind (my Acer, for example, is actually a 3 prong connector). I searched "figure 8 power cable for laptop uk" in Amazon and found a bunch. Amazon.co.uk might also have a selection of them if you can wait until she's there.
