A330 J Seat Recommendation for 4 Passengers

Hi all-

My wife and two close friends will be on AF 9 on 8/25 which was swapped from a 772 to A330.

If we want to be able to interact with them during the flight would it be recommended to sit in a row (E/F/J/K) or to sit in J/K one couple in front of the other?
- We are currently booked in seats 6 E/F/J/K but could switch to 6 J/K and 7 J/K.

Below is the seat map for the flight.

While I found other threads with recommendations on A330 seats, most seemed to be geared towards solo travelers or with only a single companion.
