Spoke to the nice BAEC lady just now on the phone --> on CX from NRT-HKG-DPS they have open seats in J but nothing return. She also tried Malaysia Airlines with no success.. one way ticket on CX is more expensive than RT!

I was quoted RT in coach as being, in Avios, 45.5k and RT in J to be 115k (57.5k each way) - does this sound correct?

I think the connecting flights cost more than a direct JL flight.

More flights might open up on the return, but it's always a big gamble.

Garuda appears to have non stop flights. 112k yen RT, or a more than half for a OW in coach.
