I'd agree with that. It's a real shame the new MTR doesn't link right round to Central. Would be perfect then. But, we live in an imperfect world so needs must.

For anyone wondering, after booking direct by email (see post above) I did indeed get all the hotel's usual benefits (minibar, breakfast, happy hour booze) and my stay posted this morning correctly: points (x4); 500 bonus points; stay YTD and nights YTD. So life is good.

Another data point: I recommended this hotel to a colleague who stayed a couple of weeks back. He apparently booked on a third-party site (I think it was booking.com - why why why) and didn't get the happy hour or breakfast so consequently wasn't as impressed with the place as I am.
