We were away for 30 night (plus travelling) last year to New Zealand and Australia. We each took 5 days worth of clothes and did a wash every every week, sometimes twice depending on the accommodation especially if we knew there was no facilities at the next destination. Most places do give you free laundry detergent but i took my own (liquitabs) so that I knew what I was washing our clothes in.
