I agree 100%. I have noticed wide open flights (at least according to ITN which I no longer trust since it shows 7's all the way down the line) and then slowly but surely the flights will fill up and I am stunned (I suspect it may be from frequent flyer miles or something since I feel that others are into some backdoor way of getting miles from purchasing traveler's checks). So the flights I fly are always packed by the last day and in the end I am forced to use my meager earnings to purchase a weekly airfare while at the mercy of whatever AS decides to charge. Probably over 15% of my income goes just to AS flights. And you wonder why I am so concerned about fares.
