So I am flying from GRU-YYZ with AC..ticket already booked, if I book a separate ticket with Avianca from GIG - GRU can I tag my luggage all the way through to YYZ? I believe checking this link this is possible? http://www.avianca.com/otr/en/travel...rtner-airlines

My plan was to be able to do this so I can go and enjoy the *A Gold Lounge, and I imagine the AC check in only would open 3-4 hours prior, so check in online and then have my luggage check through all the way. Has anyone ever done this successfully?
