I wanted to provide my experience at the Edinburgh / Courtyard. I stayed there beginning of May this year. I am a Marriott Platinum member and was recognized as such, but I did not get free breakfast. I even inquired about at the front desk and was told that in Scotland Courtyard's do not have free breakfast for Gold/Platinums. Now I was staying on points and maybe this had something to do with it, but it didn't sound like it.
