Depending on when your connecting flight to YYZ departs, you might have time to visit the Jetside bar at the Fairmont YVR Hotel. Nice views of the tarmac there! You'll have to reclear through security regardless after you exit from Canada customs. The hotel is right above international arrivals, however it's a good 10-15 minute walk down to the other end of the airport for domestic departures.
