OK, I also have AMEX points. Via AMEX points, you can go AMEX to Virgin American 2 to 1 and then Virgin American to Alaska 1 to 1.3 TILL 10/22 per what I read. Is that accurate?

I am also considering just going Chase to United 1:1 and then flying one way with United.

Then return with Alaska with a stop over in Fiji.

The other way around works too.
