Great TR - but wow, total bummer about the pasta. I know it isn't easy to serve pasta in flight but I think it's a dish that can be cooked properly in F. Would it have been possible to get another dish once the pasta turned out to be blah?
I'm definitely surprised that caviar wasn't an option! I assumed caviar was served on all global F.
And no scone with clotted cream???? I even recall getting it on UA C (J) in 1999, LHR/SFO.
The pasta was cooked well, but it just lacked any sort of sauce. Still though more Champagne helped.
Thanks When I Travel the World. We we be doing the same route, except the later flight on the 747 on oct. 10. I had not been able to find any trs on this route. I was very interested in the lounge information and the food on the flight. Thanks again for the great information.

I'm a bit skeptical on both main courses.
I found BA F to be very Stylish. I prefer the F seat on the B787.
My wife's main course was awful, but mine was really tasty and did not bloat me out , it was light and fresh which is why I enjoyed it. Not a heavy meal.
I did really enjoy the F seat on the 789, I noticed the tables are a lot smaller and the crew confirmed that was true, not a big issue though.
