We spent a few hours there during one of our visits. Rented a peddle boat for an hour for something like 80 THB. Pretty wild seeing the monitors swim by you.
Ferry boat up and back down the river was another kid friendly activity, though our daughter slept through most of it, which might have been why it was so enjoyable...
Can't say I'd be deterred by a few massage parlors, uniforms or not. Might be a good conversation starter.
