I was pretty happy with the service on the route, the AC J pod (which admittedly I am used to, and I've not flown a lot of international J on other carriers) was comfortable for the flight duration. I thought the food was fine, and they had plenty of snacks out when I woke up and felt like one. I loaded up my laptop with some binge TV watching and between that and sleeping the flight went by quickly enough.
Not really much negative to say about it TBH.
Thanks for your thoughts -- sounds like a pretty good experience!
Apart from the lunch and pre-landing breakfast in AC33/34J, how substantial are the mid-flight snacks? Are they comparable at all to some Asian carriers serving "snacks" that could be small meals, or are they less substantial? I haven't flown Australia to North America before, but it seems like quite a long route for there to be just the same two meals that they serve on a trans-Atlantic route...
