My current frustration with upgrades is that from MSP, fares are expensive but increasingly I'm seeing expensive fares that book into low fare classes, which of course is bad for upgrade priority. It seems horrible to pay $600-800 for a domestic RT on nonpremium routes and get only T and X class fares. Even the G A P fares from here tend to have low underlying coach fare classes unless I'm looking at a two thousand dollar P RT.
