FWIW, there are only a few Marriott family properties that have _ever_ taken the time to read my profile to see that I request "foam" pillows - and actually delivered (usually) one to my room - as well as extra towels.
Tonight I'm at a Marriott Suites and it was the first time that a Front Desk agent said "Oh, I see that your profile shows you prefer foam pillows - I shall have housekeeping bring some up".
That being said, the property is about 500 yards from Marriott corporate headquarters so this may be a training/testing ground.
