Exactly, the reviewer described his experience on that particular flight. I have had bad experiences myself, I have had very few great experiences, most of them were uneventful and that's about the best one can hope for when flying UA. Don't blame him for saying he was in Polaris class, that's what UA calls it, regardless of the old or new setup. Maybe he exaggerated about the "preferring Y" situation. I see no problem doing the exit seat on a 767 and I certainly prefer the domestic exit seat to an F seat, where the seatback is right on my nose, when the person in the front reclines, as most of them do. Of course I don't have to fight over the armrest since I am traveling with my SO. I don't need a flat bed, since I don't sleep on planes, I don't drink alcohol and I can cook a much better meal in my own kitchen. Recently did SIN-ICN on OZ and the half empty Y cabin really was much better than UA C, cleanliness, meals and most of all friendly and attentive FA's. But that's the only comparison I have. I have no problem with his assessment and look forward to read more reviews.
