I can't speak to New Years, but we've stayed at the SGS with our daughter (age 5) twice in the last two years and thought it was perfect. Suite gave us plenty of space. Pool, while not the biggest, was a lot of fun for all of us. They took great care of all of us at breakfast and happy hour. One of our favorite hotels...
