Changes can be done up to 24 hours before the
first flight in the itinerary, not 24 hours before each flight. However, you can change the flight from one beyond 24 hours from now to a flight within 24 hours of current time.
Obviously once changed to less than 24 hours from now the whole itinerary will immediately become non-changeable so no further changes could be made.
Also bear in mind the additional avios cost when going between off-peak and peak dates.
