I just completed my first trip from Toronto City Island to Boston on Porter. It went smoothly, and I had no problems. I had tried calling them at one point prior to the trip, and it took over a half hour on hold to get them. Apparently this is the norm so I wasn't surprised.

The airport is pretty unique, I arrived at 7:30p for an 8:20p flight with no baggage. I took the walking tunnel to the island and it was very easy with the moving walkways and escalators. I got through security with no wait and was in the lounge within 10-15 minutes of arriving from the street. The flight was only half full.

The cafe closed at 8. There is only drink and light snack service on the flight. It's a prop jet which was interesting, abrupt landing in Boston but otherwise uneventful and relaxing. Nice staff. Loved the views of Toronto from the airport!

The lounge did feel a little dated, as did the plane, compared to the AA flights I've been using, but overall a good experience and I would do again. Definitely better than dealing with the large International Airports like Pearson and Logan. Best part was I was able to walk from the Rogers Centre to Billy Bishop in 25 minutes on a nice night with a gorgeous water view. Very relaxing. I also got the flight for $119 which is a great deal if you can get it.
