If memory serves (and I've only been to that airport once and not at all bothered about going back) there's a fair chance you'll arrive into the other, domestic, terminal, which then (at least when I did it en route back from Udaipur) involved a bus journey that took me completely out of the airport and, if I am correct in remembering the route, right past the hotel strip.

So it's not like the option is simply stay in the terminal and walk straight to the lounge and flop. You're quite possibly hopping on a bus anyway.
