Have a 2 night stay there next week, during my birthday (so very interested if they will give a nice 'birthday upgrade'. After reading all the good stuff we are looking forward to it a lot (and according to the latests weather forecasts we will be able to enjoy their pool as well :-))
Will also stay one night at the Hilton Vienna Plaza and one night at the Hilton Vienna (and 2 nights at Doubletree Bratislava) so it will be a great opportunity to compare all hotels.
That sounds like a nice little tour you have lined up there ........skimanant recommend I emailed the hotel about a week before arriving and ask, I did this sending a polite request for a king waterfront suite as it was my lady's birthday, the upgrade appeared almost immediately!, I done OLCI to room 632 , it's near the elevator but no noise, it's a great room with loads of space and wardrobes, you will love it!
Ps- poolside...... try and get the more comfortable loungers to the left of the pool near bar, much less noise from pool, plenty of towels stacked opposite too!
