There is no way that work will begin by the end of 2017! Back in 2014 the BMA was stating that the station would close and that a long 800m walkway to S5 would be built within 1 year!

The BMA don't even have a final design, let alone a budget. The Rural Highway Dept is still against this expansion of the station, but they have at least come up with a plan for widening the bridge spans.

Let's see how quickly this can progress. However, I doubt that we'll see work starting before mid 2018 and a late 2020/early 2021 completion seems more likely.
