I believe mia was questioning if that effort is not worth the $200 credit for shoelessj.
Just to be clear my Corporate Plat airline benefit is 100. It was not of real value to me as I stated. If I flew a certain airline frequently and needed to pay for baggage, drinks, etc, there would be value to the airline credit.
Basically, I am seeking a card that provides 'value' without me having to spend a lot of effort finding a way to justify the cost.
Bottom line for me, the CSR does everything and more for me at 150 effective cost as the AMEX Plat would do at 550 cost. I am just sorry I couldn't get my wife to sign up for it when the 100,000 point bonus was in effect. JMHO
