It's a name dropping exercise. That's why I spend MY money for the flights to houston and the car rental, and the hotel etc...
If you would seriously like an answer... the answer is many things come out of the meeting. The problem is I can only say after the fact which things were mine. Larry would never share any information with me if I posted it on an internet board. I can tell you that several (about 5) changes have resulted or will result from the first meeting. I suspect more will come from the second. Some announced changes you may not be aware of:
1) I got the exit rows assignable at check in for Platinums.
2) First 7 rows of the single side on the RJ are now prefferred seating for elites (I lobbied for making the entire A side elite seating, so I won half of what I wanted)
3) EQM's are slowly being fixed. Obviously this is only a small part my fault. But it doesn't hurt when you trick the CEO into giving you the wrong answer about EQM's at dinner in regards to KLM. Bottom line, is the Virgin,KLN,NW and soon Hawaiian have been fixed.
4) Got a bug fixed on many international segments paired with a domestic portion, that informed you there was no first class on the international flight, only coach.
5) Lot's more web site stuff like above. I just don't feel like typing one finger all of them.
I know there are several good things coming. None that you will hold a block party over, yet they all add up... and next thing you know it is a better airline to fly.
