Having flown literally probably 100+ times in this seat over the last 10 years, I'd say your stance is mostly unfounded and overheated.

These seats are some of the most comfortable on the market from a cushion perspective. I'm 215lbs 6'2" and love the length and can lie flat. Forget about that on any 2-2 757 lie flat. Width? Well, the armrests are collapsible.

I'm glad I can still find the IPTE C seats while the new Polaris is rolled out internationally (they are tighter in some respects).
