The number of times in this country I am stuck in a queue of people in places like Vapiano, or MacDo and the people before me have had all the time in the world to decide what they want... but instead are chatting to their friends and when the they get to the front, have a chat about what they want is incredible.

I am not sure if there is the same mentality in Zurich, but in the Swiss Rommande it is very prevalent.
