From everything the OP has told us, s/he was travelling on the day of the diversion - not on the following day.
According to FR24.com, that aircraft didn't land until 11:41pm on 29 JUN, 2.5 hours late [scheduled arrival time was 09:10pm], while operating a flight from Florence.
it appears that the OP was booked on BA2210, the Friday-only 09:30pm flight from LCY to GLA. I guess a 20-minute turnaround is achievable at LCY for this diverted AND delayed aircraft to have been the planned aircraft?
[Having done a bit more research, on the Friday before and the Friday after, the BA2210 last flight to GLA on a Friday was operated using the aircraft that had performed BA8478 arriving from Nice with a scheduled arrival time of 20:55]
