This is interesting...
Upgraded SEA > LHR from WTP to CW for 25000 avios and... no money oO

Was part of a DUB > LHR > SEA in CE/CW and SEA > LHR > MAD in WTP / ET... Maybe the fact that the outbound was in CW helped here?
