I would consider it from SEA if the price wasn't so much higher. The +100% bonus for flying J is always nice; SEA-JFK-LAX-SYD in J one-way would earn around 43k miles. The SEA-LAX-SYD flight I did on AA a few weeks ago only earned me 23k miles, but it was half the price of flying QF (and QF via JFK was an extra 1k on top of that).
