Same question as JakubH. Should we try to apply ourselves for compensation? Or use a service like instalocate or goclaiming? goclaiming.com takes 25% commission (!!!!). I can't find anything out about these companies either and agree they seem dodgy.

ive used some. theyve been successful in some cases. and have not in others.

ive also been successful making the claims myself, but also unsuccessful at times.

so with difficult situations, i think it is practically unrecoverable. which makes no difference whether you do it or someone does it on your behalf (probably with low priority and effort).

the math is just whether the 25% is worth your time and effort. for me in my experience, flight's completed, nothing big's lost, no big hardship... even if i get 75% of entitlement its cherry on top.
