BA says for an infant you are allowed 1 extra piece of hand luggage on the adults allowance for items for the infant afor the journey and that the infant gets a checked-in baggage allowance the same as an adult for the travel class. For WT this is 1 x 23kg.

If you have status does the infant get the extra case and 32kg limit that all persons in the party get or are they limited to 1x 23kg case only in WT. I ask because his travel cot almost fills his case so was wondering if he counts as a person in BA's definition of all persons on the booking or not as he does not have a seat?
