Been there, done that, loved it, wrote a blog piece on it. As tom, Starwood and RTW mentioned there is the price factor, correctly listed as ~$500++ per person per resort.
if you've never been to either property, I would suggest you either plan for a longer stay at one and skip the other or add an extra night to each. Much more to do at Conrad than Hyatt. We did 4 nights PH and 5 Conrad and felt we could've added 1 to each. Of course another tourist (there by himself) left PH early because of how bored he was. To each their own.
