Has Emirates changed its policy on obtaining tier miles? More specifically on your account it used to say how many tier miles required in order to retain gold including future bookings. On my account it no longer says "including future bookings". I am 28k short of renewing gold (before end of Sept) I have just booked a number of flights which equate to 40k tier miles however it still states I require 28k. One flight being in Aug the rest after the Sept cut off.

I know you don't actually receive the tier miles until you have actually taken the flights but in the past the miles were updated on your account to show you had accrued enough?

I am hoping I have purchased flex seats for nothing...
