The food issue is bad enough but why is the FA refusing to serve more than one drink?

Is it policy to serve just one drink and no water in Economy long haul these days?

Sounds to me as though BA failed badly here on delivery and any attempt at service recovery.

I'm not surprised you are both fuming.
