I have now had almost 3 years use of the babyzen Yoyo. I have noticed that over the last year it is becoming more and more known by airport ground staff. At my local French airport they ask if it is a Yoyo and then that is it - they know it is ok to go on the aircraft as hand luggage.
When people see me collapsing the Yoyo they are amazed to see that it folds down so small. I usually collapse it at the gate before boarding because it is most convenient to have it all folded and in its bag before boarding. I then just use the shoulder strap to carry it on board.
