During my recent stay at Shearton Hiroshima, I noticed the prepaid reservation was coded to compute programming on my SPG AMEX statement, instead of lodging. As a result, no bonus AMEX earnings were credited to SPG.

No resolutions yet from AMEX nor SPG. AMEX asked me to speak with SPG; and after lengthy conversations with SPG, the customer rep was still waiting to hear back from AMEX.

Anyone else with similar experience?
