Their mobile app and online check in have serious issues. I just flew back on MH001 and I could not do online check in and the website said my reservation was cancelled and I was on a restricted ticket.
MH made the changes 2 months ago and introduced the new system but it does not appear they have done anything since to solve these problems at all...and they are on going.
Not impressive. I ended up flying into Heathrow from Germany for my connection to KL but 3 hours before the flight, all seats in EY were taken and I was left at check in at the counter with a middle row seat next to a baby for the whole flight.
IFE's for a lot of EY seats were out of action for the entire flight and passengers were livid.
We are taking Etihad for our next UK flights starting in September as a company policy now.
With the continued lack of interest in introducing WIFI or upgrading their IFE and defective IFE's on flights, it's just not worth the hassles.
