Travelling to Nairobi last week, in my haste to disembark I left a bag of chocolate and some antacids in the overhead locker.

I realised on the way into town. My own stupidity and I resigned myself to writing them off.

I was therefore impressed that by the time I arrived at my hotel I had a phone message to say the purser George had found them and they were at the EK office for collection. Sure enough I picked them up in my outward flight 5 days later.

Very good service I thought.
