I was hesitating as to whether to mention this. You are correct that LEI to LHR is 1633 KMs direct, which is 400€ rather than 250€. Moreover the final clause in Article 7.1 says it should be calculated from the last place which is impacted by the delay, which is surely LHR.

However such is the reputation of IB that I'm surprised that there is (hopefully) the prospect of near immediate payment of 750€. I think I'd get that money in first and then if I felt sore about the treatment, pursue the rest later.
