Just as a reference note. I was on a 28-BF 757-200 from EWR to LAX and Row 20 which is an exit row but not technically economy plus received the comp meal and beverage service.

Not sure if this is a standard practice or just a one off situation.

Meal options were either Indian Butter Chicken with Lentils and Rice or Spinach Manicotti. Both served with fruit and a brownie
