Am not being a "Know All Nelly" but please stop posting authoritative stuff which is just not correct. I have been away from the FT board for some time and I am scratching my eyes out at some of this stuff.

Regardless... I hope EK have resolved this in this manner as Plats should be first in queue for upgrades. The whole notion of a top-tier (IO excluded but that's a different economic driver) being trumped because someone is on a more expensive ticket defeats object of frequent flyer schemes...
