Question : you mention a lounge in MLH/BSL ? Is this new ?
No, I don't reckon the lounge at BSL is new. It has been there for as long as I can remember it. It is a third-party lounge, accommodating a bunch of airlines. Inasmuch as food and wine selection goes, it is evidently light years from what the CDG 2E lounges have to offer (and, thus, quite comparable to AMS

). Still, I like the place. It is spacious, quiet, and appropriate to get some work done (see below).

Very well phrased,
Goldorak. I could not agree more with you. In fact, the sight of the captain hugging and kissing his P-cabin guests made me sick to my stomach. Being the only Ultimate on board, I am the one
he should have kissed

. More seriously, bad habits die hard at AFKL, and pilot and crew privileges are more important than the loyalty of top revenue-making PAX's — something that won't change in any foreseeable future

This is pretty funny — I had the exact same thought as I was heading toward the city last night. I will be returning to Hong Kong later this year, and I am already considering alternate options, which is definitely the kind of negative thinking an Ultimate should not have, had the airline done its job right

. My Hong Kong colleagues have, indeed, been raving about Cathay Pacific. Worth trying.
