Fiona, thank you for saying what everyone else is thinking. I though the whole idea of ignoring was to do precisely that - but then that is so much less dramatic. I say this secure in the knowledge that I have been wiped from reality!

Back to the thread..I've said before that when I go into the Terraces lounge at LGW - I think that about the sad souless places that some of the AC lounges are in comparison.

That said, like so many other things it is a matter of taste and preference. The one thing that I do not like is the bar person who looks at the vouchers as though he had been handed a piece of toilet paper. I exempt from that totally the AC lounges at SNA (simply delightful), SEA (lovely staff on the bar and at the help desk), and the lamated HNL which was almost like having drinks in someone's den. Let's turn this a bit...tipping? Sorry can you imagine if someone put a box with "with thanks The Staff" on the bar at The Terraces?! No, nor can I!
