I've got this one wrong then, sadly.
Then it begs the question for me:
What does this mean though to be part of an alliance in the grand scheme of things?
FFP's are designed to build brand loyalty. Maybe airlines define brand loyalty at their own "airline level" - not at "alliance level", which leads me to believe that *A/OW/Skyteam aren't truly brands in their own right, and the airlines within them aren't exactly best buddies.

I guess that's why so many of us belong to multiple *A/OW FFP's.

Wish list (I'm dreaming here): Unified FFP for whole alliance with benefits and award availability at the highest common denominator.

Back on earth, it's time to build up my KF account then.
