Following the wonderful period where website bookings were changed by the system from Smoking to "No Preference" and I used to end up with a Smoking Room, I have always put "Smoking Room Please" in there (also in the appropriate local language if I know it).

I've also used it to book a table in the hotel restaurant for the first night before now.
