"Be pleasant in your email, don't come across as a DYKWIA" might've already burned that bridge :-( ...I tried to be respectful but also emphasized the business I've brought to them. Could have crossed the line, I dunno. Last couple times I paid on arrival for a good upgrade but didn't have the people needed to really appreciate the space. This year we'll have plenty of guests but it's looking dim on chances to upgrade. Don't know if Im more just venting here or hoping to hear someones tricks to snag an upgrade at a decent rate in advance. Just thinking timing on this isn't aligning quite right, and don't want to face the reality that someone really probably is paying that 4g a night to secure the high-tier suites.
