When standing in front of the brain washed teddy bear turn your back on it and c´walk about 40m in the direction of the escalators down from 'New passenger' security.. Just past the shops turn right and walk straight ahead until you pass the escalators down from the Eastern transit security area on the left. Just beyond (about 6m) , also on the left, are the escalators up to Al Mourjan lounge. There will be staff checking boarding passes here. About 30m further is the lift for Al Mourjan. For Al Safwa lounge turn left instead of right and look on the right for the escalators from the Western transit security area and to Al Safwa lounge.

Please be aware this is not the shortest route but is the easiest to describe and my distances may be a little off.
